The Dyad Health Collective was started in 2025 by Dr. Diana Pontell, a board-certified pediatrician and lactation consultant who envisioned a new model for post-partum care for the mother-infant dyad. The Dyad Health Collective aims to bridge a gap in care by providing physician level breastfeeding and lactation medicine consulting services in the Nashville area, with both in-home and virtual visits for maximum ease and convenience during the “fourth trimester”.

Our Mission

Hello

Dr. Diana Pontell lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and their two young children.  In addition to spending time with my husband and sons, I enjoy traveling, reading fiction, running outdoors, and all types of dance.

Diana Pontell MD, IBCLC

My family is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador and I travel there often to visit my relatives. I am a native Spanish speaker.
